2023 marks the start of MAD Festival — for real. A four-day festival, featuring an international circus convention stuffed with workshops and trainings!

The set-up of the festival remains the same, but in 2023 it'll take place during the Easter Holidays in April. Expect to enjoy the first sun during Antwerp spring, shows at unique locations, in open air and circus tents, and the most spectacular contemporary and future circus acts.

With A Circus State of Mind, MAD Festival showcases the innovative character of today's circus: exploratory, a bit reckless, and always aiming for more and looking to be different.

MAD is where artists and audiences meet. The festival shows circus both on and behind the scenes. The audience will explore, be granted a look behind the scenes, and will be part of the world of circus itself.
